The Italian Catering Cooperative (CIC) was created in 1999 from the shared idea of retailers and distributors. The original group of founders has proven to perceive the dynamics of a constantly evolving market and seize the value of the union: consortium is the best way to exploit the potential of teamwork for the benefit of associates and customers.
The Italian Catering Cooperative had a very dated institutional website, difficult to update, with an ineffective content structure.
The client required the MazzMedia support to completely redesign the user experience, redefining usability, corporate image and content structure, as well as making the client autonomous in managing content through a CMS platform.
The first step of the intervention concerned the planning & design of a more structured content map to facilitate the understanding of the cooperative's products and services.
A special section has been dedicated to the online magazine. This section included the flip page version of the more recent magazine and a digital archive, where users could view and download previous editions published over time in PDF format.
After an initial phase of prototyping and wireframe realization, the main pages of the interface were created, identifying a well-defined visual style consistent with the corporate identity.
MazzMedia copywriters were responsible for supporting the client in drafting texts and new contents suitable for the web and for better positioning on search engines.
In line with the needs, WordPress was chosen as CMS technological platform, for its capability to provide at the same time rapidity of development, flexibility, range of functionalities and ease of use both in terms of maintenance and content update . A completely customized theme was developed based on the client's needs and requests.
